Heads of Technology, Innovation and Operations at CBRE, Colliers, Cushman & Wakefield, JLL and NKF to speak at the largest event ever in CRE tech industry

New York, NY (August 21, 2017) -- CRE // Tech (cretech.com) announced that the 2017 CRE // Tech New York Event will feature a panel packed with the most innovative brokerage firms in the industry. Moderated by Thomas Byrne, CEO, Property Capsule, the panel will feature Chandra Dhandapani, Chief Digital & Technology Officer, CBRE, Dan Spiegel, Executive Vice President, US Operations, Colliers, Adam Stanley, Global CIO and Chief Digital Officer, Cushman & Wakefield, Raj Bhatti, Chief Technology Officer, Newmark Knight Frank, and Edward Wagoner, Global CIO, Corporate Solutions, JLL.

No other commercial real estate tech event features such a prestigious panel of tech leaders from the brokerage industry. The panel of influencers that CRE // Tech has assembled will discuss how their firms are investing in technology, what they see as the most significant product trends and how their organizations are adopting technology to serve their clients more effectively.

The panel will be moderated by Thomas Byrne, past-President of LoopNet until the sale to CoStar in 2012.  During his 10 year tenure, LoopNet grew sales 30x to over $90 million. Tom has been an active investor and advisor to the real estate tech sector.  Tom is currently the CEO of PropertyCapsule, a marketing and information intelligence platform for the retail sector.  Tom is recognized as one of the most influential and important thought-leaders in the commercial real estate tech sector.

Other panelists include:

Chandra Dhandapani, Chief Digital and Technology Officer of CBRE. Chandra is CBRE’s most-senior global technology leader, with responsibility for all aspects of the company’s technology and digital enablement, including those serving clients and CBRE professionals. Prior to joining CBRE, she was a senior technology executive at Capital One Financial and most recently, she served as Digital Transformation Leader and Chief Information Officer of the bank’s Financial Services division, comprised of Capital One’s Auto Finance, Mortgage, Home Equity and Home Loans Servicing businesses.

Dan Spiegel is Executive Vice President of U.S. Operations for Colliers International and has been a member of the company’s executive leadership team since joining in 2008. Spiegel has more than 25 years of experience in commercial real estate and is a recognized thought leader on the intersection of technology and the industry. He has extensive experience creating platform services and communications to support the business vision in commercial brokerage.    

As Global CIO and Chief Digital Officer, and a member of the Global Managing Board, Adam Stanley provides strategic and operational direction for Cushman & Wakefield’s client facing and colleague technology systems and infrastructure across all global business lines. Prior to joining the firm, Stanley served as Technology and Security Services Director for Aviva PLC, a FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 insurer and asset manager and Global Chief Technology Officer of Aon.

Raj Bhatti joined Newmark Knight Frank in 2015 where he serves as chief technology officer. Bhatti brings to his role more than 21 years of experience in implementing and managing technology systems, operations and strategy. Bhatti joined NKF from Kinetix Trading Solutions, Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital.

Eddy Wagoner is responsible for JLL’s global technology platform for corporate occupiers, including business strategy, marketing, development, deployment and support.  As global CIO for JLL’s Corporate Solutions business, Wagoner brings technology as a key service delivery differentiator to major global clients. He is also a key member of the firm’s global business sales team for major client pursuits.
