J.C. Anderson, Inc. Selected for 170,000 Square Foot Renovation for Verizon Communications
CHICAGO – J.C. Anderson, Inc. is pleased to announce that the firm has been selected to complete a 170,000 square foot office renovation for Verizon Communications at 1701 E. Golf Road (Continental Towers) in Rolling Meadows, Illinois. J.C. Anderson, Inc. will serve as general contractor.
Founded in 1983, Verizon Communications is one of the largest communications technology companies in the world. Headquartered in New York, Verizon is made up of approximately 178,500 employees and maintains offices nationwide. The firm is relocating its Elgin, Illinois office location to Continental Towers.
J.C. Anderson, Inc. will complete the 170,000 square foot build-out of the new space, which will include the addition of offices throughout seven floors of the building, a call center with up to 305 positions per floor as well as training rooms and conference rooms. The construction is scheduled for completion in April of 2016.
The construction team for J.C. Anderson, Inc. is led by Vice President William Burfeind and Project Executive John Angelovich. HOK is providing the architectural services.
