NJ’S “MOVE FOR HUNGER” PROGRAM

PARSIPPANY, N.J. (JULY 18, 2013)—Over 125 were in attendance at the 44th annual Jeffrey Siegel Memorial Golf and Tennis Outing, hosted by the Industrial and Office Brokers Association of the New York Metropolitan Area (IOREBA). The group of commercial real estate professionals enjoyed an outstanding day of golf, tennis and networking, and donated food to benefit the Community Food Bank of New Jersey’s “Move For Hunger” program. The program is dedicated to helping fight the state’s hunger problem.
“The generosity of our friends and colleagues at this year’s golf and tennis outing was remarkable,” commented IOREBA’s 2012-2013 president and senior vice president of NAI/James E. Hanson, W. Joshua Levering, SIOR. “Each year, this outing is a team effort with the many individuals, committee members and corporate sponsors giving their time, efforts and financial contributions, and without them, none of this could be possible. For instance, Lowy’s Moving Service helped pick up and deliver food donations for the Move for Hunger organization at no charge. “Our industry looks forward to this event each summer, and this year a great time was had by all,” he added.
Mr. Levering handed the traditional gavel to IOREBA’s new President, Marc Graham of Cushman and Wakefield. The 2013-2014 new slate of officers includes Vice President Adam Silver of Newmark Grubb Night Frank; Secretary Rob Dileo of NAI Dileo-Bram & Co.; and Treasurer Jonathan Glick of Sheldon Gross Realty.
“This was an outstanding year for IOREBA, and I truly enjoyed serving as President, and on the Executive Board for the past several years,” reflected Levering. “I am grateful to be so involved with this tremendous organization, and I look forward to remaining very active with IOREBA. I wish Marc and his new slate of officers the best of luck and continued success,” Levering concluded.
Guests were treated to a full day of golf, tennis and networking, which concluded with a cocktail party and dinner reception. Prizes were awarded to golfers and tennis players and a 50/50 raffle, along with other giveaways, were presented throughout dinner.
