—44th Annual Event Will Benefit The Community Food Bank of New Jersey’s
“Move For Hunger” Program—
PARSIPPANY, N.J. (MAY 23, 2013)—On Monday, June 24th, 2013, the Industrial and Office Brokers Association of the New York Metropolitan Area (IOREBA), will host the 2013 Jeffrey Siegel Memorial Golf and Tennis Outing at the Essex County Country Club in West Orange, NJ. IOREBA’s annual event is of one of the most anticipated in New Jersey’s commercial real estate industry and also benefits The Community Food Bank of New Jersey’s “Move For Hunger” program—a program dedicated to helping fight the nation’s growing hunger problem.
“We are pleased to announce details of our annual golf and tennis outing for 2013. In addition to a fun-filled full day of activities, supporting our state’s ‘Move For Hunger’ program, is an added benefit,” said IOREBA’s 2012-2013 president and senior vice president of NAI/James E. Hanson, W. Joshua Levering, SIOR. “Our members are all very active in the communities where we live and work, and we understand the challenge for many families to put food on the table. We encourage all of our guests to bring non-perishable food items to the event, or to make a tax deductible donation to ‘Move For Hunger’,” he continued.
In addition to an outstanding day of golf, tennis and networking, IOREBAwill host a lunch, dinner and various activities throughout the day. This year there are prizes for golfers on all par three holes including a $10,000 hole-in-one cash prize. In addition, there will be a 50/50 dinner raffleand several giveaways. Various members of the IOREBA board of directors also will make presentations during dinner. Traditionally, this is the event when IOREBA announces and introduces the incoming president and the new slate of directors for the 2013-2014 year.
Levering added, “This year’s outing is being overseen by a large committee, that is responsible for various tasks required to put on this extraordinary event. Special recognition goes to Jeffrey Furey, Jonathan Glick and Charles Parmelli, whom are responsible for organizing the event’s sponsorship and activities. Jeffrey has been intimately involved with this event for over 10 years, and is dedicated to making this event a true success. Check-in and registration for the event begins at 11:00 a.m., with a 1:00 p.m. shotgun start for the golf tournament.
