Grand Opening Celebrations May 14th at Avon Lake, Olmsted Township Communities


Avon Lake/Olmsted Township, OH, May 2016 – It’s a big month for K. Hovnanian® Homes in northeastern Ohio. The nationally renowned builder has opened a number of new communities this year and has been introducing a variety of new home designs at several of its Ohio communities. Now, K. Hovnanian® is hosting Grand Opening events at two of its newest communities on Saturday, May 14th: Belden Pointe in Avon Lake and Schady Reserve in Olmsted Township. During the Grand Openings, between 10:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m., interested buyers and guests can be among the first to see and tour the beautifully furnished and decorated new model homes at each community. Belden Pointe is an intimate new community of nearly 60 single-family homes to be set against wooded sites. The neighborhood is located just minutes from Lake Erie in the waterfront city of Avon Lake. Schady Reserve is a new community of single-family homes located just minutes from downtown Cleveland in Olmsted Falls. This is the second community to be developed in Olmsted Township by K. Hovnanian®, following the previous success of Evan Miller Trail. Schady Reserve will feature a collection of well-crafted homes on scenic, tree-lined streets. The homes at Schady Reserve will make a grand first impression, with refined, sophisticated exteriors and charming architectural accents. Buyers have a choice of nine distinctive floorplans, with homes offering from 2,214–3,122 square feet of luxurious living space – and some homes offering even more space with upgrades. Homes are designed in a contemporary style and feature three to four bedrooms, two-and-a-half bathrooms, and two-car garages. Pricing, which is subject to change, begins from $228,990.

Something else that sets these two new communities apart from others in the area is the level of smart home technology that will be included with each new home. Every home at Belden Pointe and Schady Reserve will come equipped with a smart home technology package from Guardian Protection Services*, including a wireless Z-wave communication hub to provide remote automation and control of an included thermostat, for convenience and energy savings. Homeowners may enhance their smart home technology to include other features such as automation of lights and locks, interactive security, video monitoring and other advanced services. Homeowners will also appreciate that these communities are among only a few in the area that are completed wired with fiber optic technology, providing faster connections.

Two models will open at Schady Reserve on May 14th. The Anderson design has approximately 2,280 square feet of living space, with four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, and a two-car garage. The home features a grand open foyer that creates a true sense of arrival for guests. The Tomasen model offers 2,602 square feet of living space and also features four bedrooms, two-and-a-half baths, and a two-car garage. Although the Grand Openings represent the first official openings for these two communities, the builder has already sold several homes at each since they opened for sales earlier this year.
