Giving Thanks: Local Non-Profit Grateful for Generous Gift
After all these years Joe Forgione hasn’t forgotten his humble roots. The hard working engineer/developer continues to give generously to many worthy organizations. Amongst those organizations is Employment Horizons. Eight years ago, the Cedar Knolls not-for-profit faced a major obstacle in that it had outgrown the space that it had occupied for over 50 years. With the financial support of Forgione Employment Horizons was able to construct a 22,000 addition and re- configure ingress and egress for safer truck and auto access. “He has never forgotten us”, said Jurate Fiory, Executive Director. “Earlier in the year I reached out to many of our loyal donors to ask for their assistance in what we knew would be another difficult year. Joe immediately pledged his support with a generous donation to help us with our needs” said Fiory.
As Founder and Principal of JMF Properties Group, Forgione has 20 years of development experience and has constructed over 3,000 residential units as well as multiple commercial and retail spaces. His philanthropy has benefitted many local organizations including those like Employment Horizons that assist people with special needs as well as those that that benefit youth sports. Forgione has always believed in giving back to the communities he has helped develop.
