First-Time Homebuyers Find Great Neighbors and Value at Providence Corner
Upper Providence Township,PA, April 2014:When Michelle Filling-Brown and Pat Brown were ready to purchase their first home, like most buyers, they had their list of requirements. The Montgomery County couple wanted to stay in the same general area where they were renting, somewhere along the Route 422 corridor. They wanted to find a townhome-style design that offered a maintenance-free experience. And, as Michelle noted, “One of the things I wanted was a two-car garage, so that kind of narrowed our options!”
After searching online for new homes in the area that met their requirements, Michelle and Pat discovered Providence Corner, a new townhome community in Upper Providence Township from K. Michelle and Pat chose a Princeton model, which they fell in love with immediately. “When you walk in the door, it is very striking,” Pat said. “It makes an immediate impression and has that “Wow!’ factor. It’s very spacious, very homey. It fits who we are. It’s perfect for Saturday afternoon with the family, for Sunday morning – the layout is ideal for us.” Michelle agreed, adding, “I love all the finishes. I was very ‘wowed’ by things like the stainless steel, the granite countertops, and the soaking tub in the master bath. There are just a lot of really pretty finishes. I also love cooking and being in the kitchen, which is really beautiful. It’s nice and open, with a breakfast bar – perfect for entertaining.”
The location was also ideal for them, as Pat explained. “We couldn’t have asked for a better location,” he said. “It’s close to our church, which we’re very active in. We’re near restaurants, movies, shopping. The way our world is, between work and life and the boys’ school and activities, it’s perfect for us.” Providence Corner offers one of Montgomery County’s most convenient locations. Located just off of Route 422, the neighborhood is only 15 minutes from the Pennsylvania Turnpike and I-76, and close to Route 202. Homeowners enjoy an easy commute to Philadelphia, King of Prussia and Great Valley. The area also provides a wide range of outdoor activities, all close by. Valley Forge National Park is only minutes away and the Schuylkill River Trail runs near the community, offering a wonderful setting for a brisk walk in the evening or a game of catch with the kids. Michelle, Pat and their two sons moved into their new home last September – and they couldn’t be happier with the new neighborhood and their homebuying experience at Providence Corner. “Everyone here has been really, really nice,” Michelle shared, “from the team in the sales office to our neighbors.” Pat was quick to agree, saying, “Our dealing with the office here has been near perfect. The guys in charge of building were also real pros and so nice. They answered all our questions and explained everything clearly until we really understood.” Michelle summed it up by adding, “They all made us feel like the most important people.”
Michelle and Pat were equally moved by the friendliness of their neighbors. “We would come by every week while our home was being built, and we met so many neighbors who were so generous. People offered to let us walk through their homes to get ideas. From our first visit, we just knew it was going to a really cool place to live.” Pat concurred. “The level of hospitality from our neighbors has been unbelievable,” he said. “There are a lot of young families like ours, which was evident on Halloween by the number of trick-or-treaters we had! Everyone has just been super. We couldn’t ask for a more welcoming neighborhood to move into.”
