First-Time Buyers Choose Providence Corner for Value, Location and New Construction

Upper Providence Township,PA, February 2015:Like many young families, Suresh Paramasivam and his wife and children were living in an apartment and considering options for their future living arrangements. At first, they weren’t really considering buying a home, but interested in finding another apartment. Then a realtor® friend of Suresh’s, Gnana Govindarajan, suggested that it might be time to stop paying all that money in rent every month. Suresh recognized the wisdom in that and agreed that it was time to buy their own home.

While they had been living in Bensalem, the Paramasivams started looking in Montgomery County around Upper Providence. They had friends in the area and they also wanted to be in a good school district. After looking at a few re-sale homes, Suresh was referred by his realtor® friend to Providence Corner, a popular new townhome community from K. Hovnanian® Homes®, located just off of Route 422 in Upper Providence Township. On their first visit, Suresh and his wife were very impressed.

“We walked onto this property and immediately liked it,” Suresh said. “The location was ideal. We had looked at two other homes in the area, but as soon as we saw this community and the way it was built and the models, we were impressed. We did not even have a second thought about going back to look at an old, used home after coming here. We liked that these homes are brand new, and that they also they fit our budget. The value was very good.”

Providence Corner has attracted a variety of homebuyers, from those who are “right-sizing” or moving down, to many first-time buyers like the Paramasivams. The community offers distinctive, low-maintenance townhomes in one of Montgomery County’s most prime locations, at an exceptional value. Buyers can choose from two expansive floorplans that feature up to 2,026 square feet of living space, with 3 bedrooms, 2½ baths, a loft, and 2-car garages. Each home also comes standard with a basement, which homeowners can upgrade to a daylight or walkout basement.

The Paramasivams moved into their new home at Providence Corner this past December. “We’re very happy with the home,” Suresh shared. “We chose a Princeton model. It’s an end unit and it’s pretty spacious, with a lot of windows, so we get a lot of light. We like the fact that it’s a townhome, but it really looks and feels like an independent, singe-family home.”

The community has also made a strong impression throughout the homebuilding industry in the area. Providence Corner has received a number of Synergy Awards, which are given annually by the Home Builders Associations of Bucks and Montgomery and Chester and Delaware Counties to honor homebuilders for excellence in design. Among other awards, Providence Corner was honored as Townhome Community of the Year and received the Home of the Year award for its Dartmouth model (Best Townhome Under 2,500 Square Feet).

In addition to offering attractive townhomes at a tremendous value, Providence Corner is set in one of Montgomery County’s most convenient locations. The community is only 15 minutes from the Pennsylvania Turnpike and I-76, and close to Route 202. Homeowners enjoy an easy commute to Philadelphia, King of Prussia and Great Valley. The area also provides a wide range of outdoor activities, all close by. Valley Forge National Park is only minutes away and the Schuylkill River Trail runs near the community, offering a wonderful setting for a brisk walk in the evening or a game of catch with the kids. There’s also a brand-new YMCA located just about a block away. The location was a large part of the Paramasivams’ decision to purchase here.

“We have two children, a boy and a girl, who are both in school, so schools were a priority for us,” Suresh shared. “This is a great school district and the schools are very close by our community. The YMCA nearby is beautiful and our children are taking swimming classes there. There are a lot of shopping centers close by and we’re pretty close to all the major highways, including 422 and 76. I work from home, but travel a lot, so that is very good for me.”

Suresh Paramasivam and his family are quite excited about spending the New Year – and years to come –in their new home, and they were very pleased with the whole experience buying at Providence Corner, where they worked with K. Hovnanian® sales associate Marie Higgins. “Marie was very kind and always very helpful,” Suresh commented. “We were coming by almost every week to see all the work being done and how the house was coming along, and everyone was always very kind and worked with us to make sure we were happy with everything. We also worked with K. Hovnanian® American Mortgage, L.L.C.™and there were no issues. We got a good interest rate and it was very easy to work with them. Everything has gone well and we are very happy.”

Visit Providence Corner soon and take a tour of the community’s beautifully decorated model homes. You’ll discover why more and more buyers throughout the Delaware Valley, like the Paramasivams, are choosing to stop renting, to stop looking at used homes, and to buy a brand-new home at Providence Corner.
