First Move-Ins Begin at Northgate Crossing Luxury Rentals in Wheeling, Illinois

02/08/2016

CHICAGO (February 8, 2016) – Chicago-based REVA Development Partners has announced the first move-ins at Northgate Crossing, a 288-unit luxury rental community in north-suburban Wheeling, Ill.

Conveniently located between Lake Cook and Dundee roads on Northgate Parkway, Northgate Crossing is part of the Village’s ongoing redevelopment effort for its Town Center district, which is anchored by the municipal campus, fitness and aquatic centers, large scale Heritage Park redevelopment and an existing Metra Station.

The 20-acre Northgate Crossing development, located two blocks north of the Metra station, will feature nine three-story luxury apartment buildings on a heavily landscaped, amenity-rich site. The residences include one-bedroom/one-bathroom, one-bedroom + den/one-bathroom and two-bedroom/two-bathroom plans measuring approximately 696 to 1,212 square feet with one-bedrooms starting at under $1,500 and two-bedrooms starting at under $2,000 per month. Two models are available to tour.

“Northgate Crossing answers the high demand among apartment hunters in the area who are seeking the flexibility and amenities of a rental community, yet are not willing to compromise on luxury finishes and quality design,” said Matt Nix, principal of REVA Development Partners. “We’re looking forward to welcoming as many young singles and professionals as we are families, downsizers and transferees.”

He continued, “The development’s condo-quality finishes and maintenance-free lifestyle, combined with convenience of near-by dining and shopping options have generated a lot of excitement among those who have chosen to rent at Northgate Crossing.” And, the nearby Metra station is ideal for downtown commuters, Nix noted.

REVA’s focus on lifestyle is represented by the various amenities at Northgate Crossing, including an approximately 7,000-square-foot clubhouse with a fitness center, club room, business services, demonstration kitchen, gaming/theater room and management offices. Residents will also enjoy outdoor features, such as a resort-style swimming pool and sundeck, grilling stations, ample patio seating, fire pit, bocce ball court, and walking paths.

The town of Wheeling is already home to some of the most well-known restaurants in Chicago’s northwest suburbs and will soon see Braintree, Mass.-based Richelieu Foods, which makes frozen pizzas and salad dressing and currently employs more than 800 people, bringing a projected 125 new jobs to the area as the company moves in to a facility at 120 West Palatine Road. The area around Northgate Crossing is slated to become home to hundreds of luxury residences, shopping, restaurants and a boutique brew pub/theater concept.

Pre-leasing specials are currently being offered for a limited time. Leasing and property management is overseen by Chicago-based Kinzie Real Estate Group.
