Evergreen Development Completes Sale of 5.78-Acre Parcel in Casa Grande, Arizona


PHOENIX – [January 31, 2018] –  Evergreen Devco, Inc., a leading national retail and multifamily development company, announced today the sale of a 5.78-acre parcel, located at the southwest corner of McCartney Road and Pinal Avenue in Casa Grande, Arizona, to Hinkson Holdings, LLC, for an undisclosed price.


“We are excited to see this part of the Valley rebound with future, new retail and other commercial uses,” said Doug Leventhal, COO at Evergreen Devco, Inc. “We are optimistic about the development momentum reemerging in Casa Grande.”


The future development site will be called Villago Village.


The City of Casa Grande is the southern-most city in the Phoenix Metropolitan area and is conveniently located midway between Phoenix and Tucson, approximately one hour from each city. Casa Grande’s population has doubled since the year 2000, making it the largest city and tax base in Pinal County. According to the City’s economic development department, Casa Grande has generated significant growth over the past two years, adding major employers and creating jobs. The I-8, I-10, and Union Pacific Railroad run through the city of Casa Grande, and the I-8/I-10 interchange is located just south of the downtown corridor providing convenient access to three major freight routes.
