Equity 3 Real Estate Weekly Report
WEEK OF: NOVEMBER 7 THROUGH NOVEMBER 11
Equity Real Estate Brokerage remembers our Veterans on Friday, November 11, 2016. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.
Where does the commercial real estate market go from here? Based on Tuesday’s election, it can be anyone’s game right now. President-Elect Trump has stated that the economy is one of his top priorities. Regenerating a stale economy can be good for everyone and there are clearly segments of the market yet to fully return while other areas are burgeoning.
Our first generation of millennials are expected to transition from apartment renting to more permanent homes and the condominium market is expected to reap the benefits. This could be good news for the office markets in the tertiary areas still seeing below market returns and high vacancies. The prospect of converting more underutilized properties for multi-family dwellings is still appealing to a lot of developers and perhaps some current landlords.
The big changes are yet to come and if the new President-Elect and his Congress and Senate enact some of the changes being spoke about in the first 100 days, it can change things dramatically – and which way it goes it yet to be seen.
The Brokerage Team is still actively seeking industrial properties 5,000 square feet and up. We currently have a couple of industrial buildings in Bergen County under contract for sale which had multiple offers and those buyers are still looking. If you are interested in possibly leasing or selling your industrial property, there is a market for industrial users.

Equity Real Estate Management Equity Real Estate Management has completed the paving and striping of the lot at 40 Eisenhower and now the solar panels are being prepped for installation.
Equity Real Estate Management’s Tip: Take time to do some winter preparation if you have not already done so. It’s not too late…yet. Do you have salt? A way to spread it? Did you execute your plowing contract? Do you have a shovel on hand in case of an emergency?
Taking care of these items before Thanksgiving is a good way to help you get through whatever winter brings.
