EB5 Capital Celebrates Community Impact Award at Invest in the USA’s 11th Annual EB-5 Advocacy Conference

Washington, DC – EB5 Capital is proud to announce its winning the Community Impact Award at Invest in the USA’s (IIUSA) 11th Annual EB-5 Advocacy Conference, which took place from April 22 - 24. Nominated and elected by members of the EB-5 trade association, the award acknowledges excellence in the development of under-resourced neighborhoods across the United States. EB5 Capital has invested in projects across six states and the District of Columbia. In Washington, DC, the firm has exhibited a strong commitment in neighborhoods such as Capitol Hill, Buzzard Point, and NoMa.

“This award is extremely rewarding to our team,” said senior VP of global operations, Brian Ostar. “We work hard every day to ensure we execute on the mandate of EB-5, to bring much-needed capital to overlooked regions. This award is an acknowledgment of that work and inspires us to do even more.”

EB5 Capital founder and president, Angelique Brunner, also won the EB-5 Advocate of the Year Award, recognizing her significant contribution in advocating for the future of the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program, and for its use as a broad economic development tool. Brunner testified to Congress in 2017 about the value of the EB-5 program and served on several industry-related organizational boards.

“It’s always a humbling experience to have your work recognized, but even more so when it’s recognition by your peers and industry friends,” said Brunner. “What I do is only made possible by my incredible team that supports me day in and day out.”
