Driverless Cars, AI and the Impact on the Future of Commercial Real Estate to be the focus of CRE // Tech in Los Angeles on September 28

CBRE Headquarters in Downtown LA To Host This Groundbreaking Event

New York, NY (September 11, 2017) -- CRE // Tech (cretech.com), the leading event, content and connectivity platform for the commercial real estate industry announced that it will host its second annual Los Angeles event on September 28th at CBRE Headquarters in Downtown Los Angeles. The event will feature a keynote address from Andy Cohen, Co-CEO of Gensler, a fireside chat between Brad Greiwe, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, Fifth Wall Ventures and Lewis C. Horne, President of the Southern California and Hawaii Division, CBRE and an interview with Max Crowley, Strategic Initiatives, Uber for Business.

Cohen’s keynote address will focus on the future of cities, parking, commuting and how AI will impact the entire industry. He will also explore how driverless technology will introduce societal shifts, such as how cities and city-builders are already preparing for the inevitable change.

“We’re at a watershed moment in the design of our future cities and a major contributor is driverless cars. This innovation will have the highest impact on the urban landscape and the ways people experience cities, especially in the coming years,” said Cohen.

With both Greiwe and Horne’s deep knowledge in the tech and the commercial real estate sectors, their fireside chat will dive deep into diverless, AI and the major trends impacting commercial real estate.

Max Crowley currently leads strategic initiatives for Uber for Business. As a founding member of Uber for Business, Max played a critical role in growing the team globally and bringing the transportation management platform to 65,000 organizations across the globe. Max’s interview with Michael Beckerman will address the impact of ridesharing on commercial real estate.

“We are thrilled to be coming back to Los Angeles with this important event topic,” stated Michael Beckerman, CEO, CRE // Tech. “ I am also extremely grateful to CBRE for suggesting and hosting this groundbreaking event. Driverless cars, AI and ridesharing are some of the most important tech trends impacting our industry and I have no doubt they will each be transformative in how we work, live and do business in the real estate industry in the very near term. I would really encourage anyone who wants to understand what the future of our industry looks like to attend this important event,” Beckerman concluded.
