Cushman & Wakefield Secures 2,000-Square-Foot Retail Lease for Boohoo.com at 3 West 13th Street

10/26/2016

NEW YORK, NY –  Oct. 26, 2016 – Cushman & Wakefield today announced that Boohoo.com, an England based fashion E-tailer, has signed a 2,000-square-foot lease for its first brick and mortar store at 3 West 13th Street, in Manhattan’s Union Square neighborhood.

A Cushman & Wakefield team of Joanne Podell, Vice Chairman, Brandon L. Singer, Senior Director and Aylin Gulap, Associate represented Boohoo.com in the transaction; the landlord, Joseph Svek, represented himself.

Boohoo.com, already an established fashion brand, is one of the fastest growing E-tailers in the world. Founded in 2006, the company specializes offering a wide range of cutting-edge, yet affordable, apparel to men and women ranging from 16-28 years old. The fashion house’s first brick and mortar location will serve multiple purposes, including showroom and event space as well as dedicated office space for administrative staff.

“Our team has a successful track record of representing online companies expand their presence to brick and mortar locations. When Boohoo.com tasked us with securing a space, we were quick to identify a list of locations that would allow the company to grow in a thoughtful manner,” said, Mr. Singer. “3 West 13th Street proved to be the ideal location for Boohoo.com, because the space affords customers the opportunity to interact with products; it also allows for office and event space, two features high on the company’s list when it set out on its search.”
