Commercial real estate services firm Cushman & Wakefield, Inc., has promoted two industrial brokerage specialists to the position of senior associate, announced Gualberto "Gil" Medina, the company's New Jersey executive managing director. Based in the Cushman & Wakefield East Rutherford office, Robert Adams of Sparta and Rachel Pittard joined the firm as associates in 2007 and 2009, respectively.
Adams and Pittard both are part of a six-person team that is recognized as one of Cushman & Wakefield's most senior and successful industrial groups nationwide. The team focuses on leasing and sales; significant land tract transactions; and representation of major corporations, developers and institutional owners. It also handles consulting, management and appraisal assignments on a national and international basis.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Adams served in a variety of roles in the mortgage and financial advisory field, most recently in the area of residential, commercial and new construction loans. He was recognized as a top producer and loan officer on several occasions. Adams earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is a licensed real estate salesperson in the State of New Jersey.
Pittard previously served as a freelance consultant, and founder and president of RP Management Solutions, Inc., a full service marketing and public relations service for small businesses. She earned a bachelor's degree in sociology and women's studies, and a master's degree in public administration from Rutgers University. Currently, she serves on the board of the New Jersey chapter of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP).
"Robert and Rachel are energetic, enthusiastic, hard-working younger professionals, and they represent the next generation of real estate brokerage here at Cushman & Wakefield," Medina noted. "There exists an excellent synergy across levels of expertise within our industrial practice. That, combined with New Jersey's position as one of the nation's most prominent industrial hubs, provides an excellent platform for growth here. It is gratifying to see Robert and Rachel advance within this context."
