Microsoft Deal at 11 Times Square Finally Closes

After months of negotiations and rumors, Microsoft is confirmed to have closed the deal at 11 Times Square. Despite early estimates that Microsoft was going to lease 400,000 SF, the final agreement was for  261,095 SF over 8 floors, with a starting rent over $60 PSF. The TI allowance for the build-up will be around $100 PSF.

 Sandow Media Leases Entire Floor at the Time Life Building 

Sandow Media signed a lease for 38,000 SF, the entire 17th floor at 1271 Avenue of the Americas, AKA the Time-Life Building. The multi-platform brands company will receive around $20 PSF in TIs and pay rents in the lower $40s - among the lowest in the building (The lease was announced by Sandow on December 12 and was in the CompStak database since December 17.)

 CompStak Helps WSJ Find The Largest Office Deals of 2012

Last week CompStak helped WSJ's Laura Kusisto gather information about the largest Manhattan office lease deals in 2012.
