Compass Releases the Results of Its Second Annual Agent Survey
NEW YORK, NY - In an effort to continue to reach new levels of success and growth as a company, Compass recently polled its agent pool to measure agents’ overall satisfaction with their experience at Compass thus far. The survey spanned all aspects of the business, seeking feedback on the numerous operational teams that support agents’ day-to-day operations and business goals. The results were overwhelmingly positive.
According to the survey, agents saw tremendous growth in their business upon making the move to Compass. Despite many recent hires, nearly 90% of Compass agents have experienced growth since joining; these agents reported an average of 18% growth in GCI versus last year. For Compass agents that have been at the company for a full year, they have generated an average 38% higher GCI year-over-year.
Compass agents seemed most impressed with the tech real estate platform’s IT depart- ment. In fact, 91% of agents polled ranked Compass’ IT department as “exceptional” in comparison to agents’ previous firms.
Because Compass is constantly releasing new and improved pieces of technology to improve its agents’ business, there was need for more trainings. Most agents said they were not accustomed to a brokerage making such technology-related strides as often or consistently as Compass.
The comprehensive survey shone a light on all areas of the company: agent operations, finance, marketing, legal, listings, IT, agent management, and pitch support. When asked to rate these groups on their execution compared to previous firms, nearly all Compass agents gave perfect rankings of 5 out of 5 to each department. When agents were asked, on a scale of 1-5, how likely they were to recommend Compass to an agent at another brokerage, the average score was a 4.9 out of 5.
Launched in 2013, Compass is a technology-driven real estate platform with offices in New York City and Washington, D.C., that combines exceptional agents with best-in-class technology to make the process of buying, selling and renting a home intelligent and seamless.
