CBRE/New England Wins Six BOMA Awards
Tassinari named BOMA Boston 2013 Executive of the Year
BOSTON (Nov. 21, 2013) — CBRE/New England today announced that the firm recently took home six Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) awards, which were presented at the annual BOMA Boston’s TOBY and Industry Awards Ceremony held on November 14, 2013 and hosted by CBRE/NE’s John Sullivan, President of BOMA Boston.
“This award ceremony honors the best buildings and real estate professionals in the Greater Boston area,” said Mark Tassinari, Executive Vice President/Partner and head of CBRE/NE’s Asset Services division. “CBRE/New England, once again, had a strong showing in both the building awards and individual awards, which is a true testament to all of the outstanding professionals we have working with us at CBRE/NE.”
The first of CBRE/New England’s six awards went to Mark Tassinari, who was honored with the coveted BOMA Boston 2013 Executive of the Year award. This prestigious award recognizes Mark's commitment to excellence and the entire Asset Services team's professionalism and their outstanding client service delivery capabilities. Additionally, Chris Linssen, Senior Property Manager at Riverfront Office Park in Cambridge, was presented with the “Property Manager of the Year” award in the high-rise category. Also of note, Daniel Wells, Tenant Coordinator at Channel Center in Boston, received the BOMA Boston Education Scholarship.
CBRE/NE was honored with three TOBY awards for individual properties under the firm’s management; honors included the outstanding 500,000–1,000,000 square foot building of the year (Seaport East, Boston); the outstanding suburban mid-rise building of the year (Brickstone Square, Andover); and the outstanding government building of the year award (1550 Main Street, Springfield).
Furthermore, 179 Lincoln Street in Boston was recognized for obtaining the “BOMA Boston 360 Performance Building” designation. The following property managers were recognized for obtaining their “Real Property Administrator” designation: Jack Hurley (33 Arch Street, Boston), Ryan Parson (Prologis Portfolio, Boston) and Jason Richardson (Totten Pond Office Park, Waltham).
