Bussel Brokers Purchase of 230 St. Nicholas Avenue, South Plainfield, New Jersey
EDISON, NEW JERSEY (DECEMBER 3, 2013)– Bussel Realty Corp. (BRC), a leading industrial real estate services firm in New Jersey, today announced it has brokered the purchase of 230 St. Nicholas Avenue in South Plainfield, New Jersey, a 76,000 sf industrial facility. The property was purchased by Allen Flavors, Inc. for over $5 million from Majestic Realty Springs. Senior Vice Presidents Robert Sager and David Blitt of BRC in collaboration with Wayne Kranz of Coldwell Banker Commercial Feist & Feist were responsible for the transaction.
“Allen Flavors experienced significant growth in their business and needed to expand,” commented Blitt. “230 St. Nicholas Avenue’s location next door to its manufacturing facility was the most logical place to expand into and provides an ideal distribution center for its products.”
Sitting on 4.68 acres of land, 230 St. Nicholas Avenue is just minutes to I-287, two miles from the New Jersey Turnpike, and Route 440 leading to the Goethals Bridge and Staten Island. The 76,000-sf property features 25’ ceilings, 5 loading docks with levelors, air conditioned offices, 6” reinforced floor, high density sprinkler system, ample parking, and possible rail service.
