Kathleen Alberts, CCIM, Senior Vice President, Commercial Brokerage and Helen Weissman, CCIM, Senior Vice President, Commercial Brokerage, were responsible for the following two leases which resulted in bringing a Pompano industrial building to 100% occupancy:
*Downtown Moving and Storage, Inc. has leased 6,150 SF of industrial space within Pompano Industrial Building at 1040 SW 10th Avenue, Pompano Beach, FL in an expansion within the building. Ms. Alberts and Ms. Weissman noted that the tenant chose the property for its visible I-95 frontage, space configuration and convenient location. Ms. Alberts and Ms. Weissman represented the landlord, 1040 SW 10 Avenue, LLC.
* Nautical Depot Com, LLC, has leased 6,150 SF of industrial space within the Pompano Industrial Building at 1040 SW 10th Avenue, Pompano Beach, FL for its corporate headquarters in a relocation from Ohio. Nautical Depot Com is a wholesale marketer of rattan outdoor furniture. According to Ms. Alberts, they selected the property for its excellent frontage and visibility on I-95, signage, and central location. Ms. Alberts and Ms. Weissman represented the landlord, 1040 SW 10th Avenue, LLC. Ms. Alberts and Ms. Weissman previously sold the industrial building in June of 2014 to an owner/user who occupies approximately 50% of the building, and have continued leasing the property for the new owner. The lease to Nautical Depot Com brings the 36,000 SF industrial building to 100% occupancy.
Helen Weissman, CCIM, Senior Vice President, Commercial Brokerage, handled the following two leases:
*Associated Grocers of Florida, Inc. has leased 23,400 SF of warehouse space within Pompano Park, 1500 SW 5th Court, Pompano Beach, FL. Associated Grocers is a distributor of dry storage food related items. Ms. Weissman represented the tenant. The landlord, Liberty Property Limited Partnership, represented itself.
*TVR Communications has leased 6,230 SF of retail/office space within 471 SW 12th Avenue, Pompano Beach, FL. Ms. Weissman represented the tenant. The landlord, Big Bad Mama Properties, Inc., was represented by Co-broker John McQuestion of Campbell & Rosemurgy.
