Blair ‘Red’ Greenlaw joins SVN Alliance to expand international commercial real estate brand in Jacksonville
A US Navy veteran, Greenlaw will initially focus on assembling a talented team of CRE professionals to serve the First Coast
Jacksonville, Fla.– Blair “Red” Greenlaw has been named Regional Director for SVN Alliance, where he will spearhead the expansion of SVN’s presence in the Northeast Florida region. In this capacity, Greenlaw will assemble a team of commercial real estate advisors to serve the First Coast, a region experiencing a CRE boom – especially within the multifamily, industrial and retail sectors.
“Red possess the leadership qualities and a growth-oriented mentality that are imperative as we look to expand SVN’s international brand in Northeast Florida,” said Carl Lentz, MBA, CCIM, principal and managing director for SVN Alliance. “He has embraced the SVN culture of collaboration and teamwork and I am confident in his role to build the right team to deliver exceptional client services in such an exciting market.”
SVN International Corp., one of the industry’s most recognized brands, is comprised of more than 1,600 CRE professionals in more offices in the United States than any other commercial real estate firm. It is consistently recognized as a Top 10 nationally ranked CRE brand. The Florida team of more than 100 advisors bring expert service and market knowledge to clients across the state.
“I’m thrilled to play a key role in expanding the presence of a highly regarded international brand in one of the state’s largest and compelling markets,” said Greenlaw, who has been active serving clients in the local commercial real estate market. “SVN’s expansion in the Jacksonville market creates a significant opportunity for all advisors in the area who will be first to join this team.”
Greenlaw has extensive real estate experience as an investor, project manager and CRE agent. He has experience brokering industrial, office, self-storage and land transactions. In building the SVN Alliance team in Jacksonville, he recognizes the area offers a wide array of professional talent.
“Foremost, we’re interested in talented CRE professionals who maintain a ‘service before self’ attitude that results in delivering guidance and insights that are in the best interest for our clients,” Greenlaw explained.
Before earning his real estate license, Greenlaw served the United States for two decades as a pilot in the U.S. Navy, where he still holds a commission as a commander in the Navy Reserve. Greenlaw commanded a U.S. Navy aviation squadron (VR-62 Nomads), earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree from The Naval War College.
SVN Alliance was launched to serve the thriving east-central Florida market when Jerry Anderson, executive managing director of SVN Florida, assembled a well-established team of commercial real estate advisors with more than a century of experience and market knowledge. SVN’s expansion into Jacksonville is a testament to the success and growth of SVN Alliance and the strength of the overall international brand.
“When you’re able to offer leading-edge technology platforms and marketing tools, and are one the most recognized names in CRE, it’s a significant advantage in attracting top CRE talent,” said Anderson. “And that’s what we do when we expand in a market such as Jacksonville.”
The Jacksonville expansion comes on the heels of one in Southwest Florida, where SVN KOVA launched in August. SVN KOVA, which also comprises some of the most respected CRE professionals in the area, is a full-service CRE brokerage, with offices in Naples, Bonita Springs and Fort Myers.
As part of SVN Florida’s robust platforms, SVN advisors have readily available access to leading edge marketing, capital funding, insurance and accelerated sales tools for their clients. SVN is the only commercial real estate company that aggressively markets all its properties to the entire brokerage and investment community offering 50 percent of commissions to cooperating brokers 100 percent of the time. This open, transparent and collaborative approach to real estate brokerage maximizes value for owners and is the SVN difference.
SVN, a commercial real estate brokerage firm headquartered in Boston, is one of the industry’s most recognized brands based on the annual Lipsey Top Brand Survey. With more than 200 locations in 500 markets, SVN Commercial Real Estate Advisors provide sales, leasing and property management services to more than 5,550 clients worldwide. The Florida team consists of more than 110 advisors serving locations across the state.
