Big 5 Corp. Signs Lease for 171,619 SF Riverside Industrial Building
Lee & Associates Riverside Negotiates New Class A Building Lease
RIVERSIDE, Calif.—January 28, 2015—Big 5 Corp. signed a lease for new Class A building located at 6150 Sycamore Canyon Blvd. in Riverside.
The 171,619-square-foot building, which is scheduled to be completed by April this year, was pre-leased prior to construction.
R. Mario Calvillo & Finn Comer of Lee & Associates Riverside, represented the landlord, KB Development. Big 5 was represented by Charles R. Ogburn of Ogburn & Associates.
“The project was developed by KB Development, a high quality local development company with principals Darrell A. Butler and Khosro Khaloghli. KB Development is affiliated with more than 10 million square feet of buildings in the Inland Empire region,” said Calvillo, noting that KB Development purchased this 8.05 acre land parcel in April of 2014, with construction commencing four months later.
When completed, the facility will include a 32-foot-high clearing height, 185-foot, all concrete truck-court & parking area with 21 dock-high doors. US Bank is the lender, Fullmer Construction is the builder and HPA, Inc. is the architect.
