ABS PARTNERS SECURES TECHNOLOGY KNOWLEDGE TENANT AT 915 BROADWAY
NEW YORK, N.Y. (March 14, 2012)ABS Partners Real Estate, LLC, one of New York City’s foremost real estate services firms, announced today that General Assembly, a center for guidance, education and networking for entrepreneurs and start-ups has signed a deal for 12,880 square feet of space at 915 Broadway. The rapidly expanding business center also occupies 20,000 square feet of space at 902 Broadway.
ABS Partners manages 915 Broadway and, with this transaction, the site is currently fully leased.
“This deal creates a great synergy, as the property is in the heart of the ‘Silicon Alley’ corridor and already houses a number of young tech firms and a few tech startups,” said Jay Caseley, Partner and Executive Managing Director for ABS. “The existing tenant base and General Assembly greatly complement each other. Their educational seminars should easily find a ready-and-willing audience and the networking opportunities they provide are already famous in Silicon Alley circles.”
Located at the southwest corner of 21st Street, the building features a high ratio of windows, great light, two lobbies and five passenger elevators. Carol Sacks, co-leasing agent for ABS said General Assembly will re-appoint the building entrance at 10 E. 21st Street to help facilitate their presence and accommodate their clients.
General Assembly is a campus for technology, design, and entrepreneurship that provides educational programming, space, and support to advance collaborative practices and learning opportunities across a community inspired by the entrepreneurial experience.
