ABS Partners Finds Pharmacy Tenant For Gramercy Space
NEW YORK, N.Y. (September 21, 2012)ABS Partners Real Estate, LLC, one of New York City’s foremost real estate services firms, announced today that Nate’s Pharmacy, a niche pharmacy chain that focuses on specialty products not found at larger chain stores, has signed a
1,685-square-foot lease at 223 Third Avenue, at the southeast corner of East 19th Street.
ABS’ Executive Managing Director and Director of Leasing Richard Farley and Managing Director of Retail LeasingMark Tergesen completed the transaction. Farley and Tergesen represented the Landlord and the Tenant in the transaction.
Liberty Travel formerly occupied the site and the transaction represents an expansion for the retailer, which has sites in Brooklyn and on Staten Island.
"This Gramercy corridor had a high rate of vacancy during the downturn, but like other sections of Manhattan, it has recovered and is showing signs of growth and continued absorption,”said Tergesen. “This is our second transaction in this corridor to date in 2012.”
