ABS Cooks Up Two Restaurant Deals in New York City
NEW YORK, N.Y. (December 4, 2012) ABS Partners Real Estate, LLC, one of New York City’s foremost real estate services firms, announced today that it has completed two restaurant deals in New York City with Cock and Bull British Pub and The Meatball Shop.
· Cock and Bull British Pub is an original restaurant influenced by Great Britain. The restaurant has leased 2,500 square feet at 23 West 45th Street. Chef Mario Amero interprets classic British food such as Scotch eggs, fish and chips, and beef and ale pie. The bar includes 10 beers on tap and an extensive selection of British wines and themed cocktails. They are one of the few bars that serve authentic Cask Ales. The pub opened for brunch, lunch, and dinner in late summer after an extensive renovation. ABS Retail Leasing Team Member Dean Valentino represented the Tenant.
· The Meatball Shop completed a 10-year, 1,600 square-foot lease at 200 Ninth Ave. for its fourth location. ABS Retail Leasing Team Member Jay Einbender and Dean Valentino represented the Tenant. The chain has other locations at 84 Stanton St., 64 Greenwich Ave., in Manhattan and 170 Bedford Ave. in Brooklyn. The space formerly housed Klee Brasserie and is expected to open as the Meatball Shop in Spring of 2013.
“The restaurant industry has always been a driving force in New York,” said Valentino. “With the economy the way it is, we’re thrilled to see businesses expanding and adding to the economy. Both of these eateries enhance the vibrancy and pulse of the city, and their owners are adding to that by committing to the space and setting their own unique tone.”
