NGA’s Executive Director Bryce Blanchard represented the seller, PG Investments, in this transaction.
The property was developed by Gardner Batt and acquired by an out-of-state entity seeking to place capital in Utah’s strong economy. The property features a 15-year lease and is an anchor in the exciting new entertainment district being created by Ken Bretschneider in the heart of Utah County, which also includes the Evermore experience park.
The VOID is a groundbreaking hyper-reality entertainment company that combines the magic of illusion and advanced technology to create immersive social experiences that take visitors to new virtual worlds. The VOID has multiple locations across the globe; its most recent locations are opening in Downtown Disney in Anaheim and Disney Springs in Orlando, Florida. The VOID/The GRID in Utah is set to open Fall 2018.
Evermore Park encompasses approximately 12.75 acres and will include a reception center, several experience buildings and gardens, an ice skating rink, splash pad, train, theatrical performances, and will host seasonal events. The design of the park will mimic the look of a classic old-European hamlet and is set for completion in 2019.
