NEW YORK, NY- (April 25, 2011) 3.1 Phillip Lim has signed a long-term lease with expansion options for approximately 25,000 square feet of space at 304 Hudson Street for its New York corporate and design headquarters.

The pioneering label, which has been housed at 260 West 39th Street, is in the process of relocating to the top level of the eight-floor building and is planning a custom showroom and office space.

Creative director and co-founder, Phillip Lim, launched the eponymous brand in 2005 to glowing reviews and commercial success. In just a few years, the label has expanded to include women’s, men’s, kids, accessories, shoes and underpinning lines and Mr. Lim has established himself as a respected leader in the fashion industry.

“We are very excited about the plans we have for 304 Hudson Street,” added Wen Zhou, co-founder and CEO of 3.1 Phillip Lim. “This new space will better reflect the success the company has achieved over the past few years and what we hope to accomplish in the future.” A build out of the space will begin June 1 for occupancy in the fall.

Originally completed in 1898, 304 Hudson Street is situated between Spring and Vandam Streets and offers convenient access to mass transit as well as unique elements such as exposed brick walls, wood flooring and skylights. The 263,023-square-foot building is home to a diverse group of tenants including Atelier Fashion, Great Performances Catering and Events, Red Line Films and The Luxe Group.
