Overview: 

In this critical role, the qualified candidate will work to improve Planned Companies’ market position and drive financial growth. S/he will build key customer relationships, identify lucrative business opportunities, and negotiate and close business deals. The ideal candidate will be highly personable, an expert negotiator, and experienced in sales and business development.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of the overall sales and marketing strategy, short and long term objectives, and targets
  • Research emerging markets and industry trends so as to ensure that the sales and marketing strategy is always positioned for success
  • Develop, maintain, and grow business relationships with potential and current clients
  • Generate leads on new clients and convert them to sales
  • Develop sales strategies for key prospects, including capture plans, bid strategies, and proposal budgets
  • Coordinate presentation/pitch approaches
  • Manage and coauthor bids and proposals
  • Develop responses to requests for proposals (RFPs)
  • Maintain client relationships after contract is awarded to ensure high levels of satisfaction
  • Track and manage sales activities and achievements on existing and new accounts
  • Perform various other duties as assigned

Desired Qualifications & Skills : 

Required Qualifications:     

  • Bachelors’ Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related area required
  • Additional related certification, a plus
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, within the property services industry preferred
  • Excellent organization and time management
  • Proven interpersonal and leadership success
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Incomparable negotiation and deal closing skills
  • Strong conflict resolution and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suit, other related sales software, a plus
