With all of the new construction happening in the luxury market today, let’s explore three of the best lots on which to build a dream home. New construction properties in these areas are selling upwards of $600/square foot. Building costs can approximate $300 - $350/square foot, so the more house you build, the more equity you stand to gain in a property. It is not uncommon for buyers in the areas to knock on doors of new custom mansions that are being built, and make offers. In some cases, the offers are so compelling that the person who was building his/her dream house, will actually sell it and pocket the gain and move on to a new opportunity or start building all over again in a new location.   When it comes to ultra-luxury compounds, buyers are very particular about where they want to build. Let’s look at my top choices.
